LawLogix Releases Streamlined Processes and Updated Forms for Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA)
PHOENIX, Ariz., August 16, 2012 – LawLogix Group, Inc., the proven leader in Immigration Forms and Case Management Software announced today new capabilities for its EDGE Immigration Software in response to the recent USCIS Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) announcement.
The newly released forms are immediately available and include:
- The new I-821D Consideration of Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals;
- The updated I-765 Application for Employment Authorization which includes a new category for work
authorization based on DACA; and
- The new I-765WS, a worksheet for establishing economic need for employment.
With nearly 1 million estimated potential applicants eligible for DACA, LawLogix’ in-house attorneys and experts recognized that the new forms needed to be available to our clients soon after the USCIS announcement. “One day after the announcement of the availability of the new forms, LawLogix had not only updated the forms but also provided a time-saving method for our users to quickly screen potential DACA clients, organize the documents required for the application process, and generate a complete filing,” said LawLogix Co-Founder Dan Siciliano.
In addition to updating the forms, LawLogix also created two dedicated processes for immigration attorneys to screen DACA candidates via the DACA Consultation Process and prepare the DACA filing and manage all related forms and documents via the DACA Case Process. The new tools enable attorneys, paralegals, and case managers to screen and assist potential DACA clients quickly and efficiently.
Attorneys, paralegals, and case managers rely on LawLogix, the leader in the immigration case management software industry, for critical immigration law and process updates that include the latest in forms and systems features as well as cutting edge case management strategies. Since the June 15th announcement of DACA, LawLogix has actively reported on all three of the USCIS Stakeholder Meetings, conducted numerous practice management webinars, and was the first to devote a full webinar exclusively on how to use technology to prepare for DACA.
LawLogix will host a follow-up educational webinar on DACA on August 22, 2012 at 1pm (EST)/10am (PST) where we will discuss the risks and benefits associated with the DACA process.
