LAWLOGIX IS ONE OF ONLY A HANDFUL OF E-VERIFY WEB SERVICES DESIGNATED AGENTS CERTIFIED BY THE DEPARTMENT OF HOMELAND SECURITY (DHS), WHICH MEANS THE GUARDIAN SYSTEM CAN OFFER EFFICIENT E-VERIFY BATCH PROCESSING OF ALL EMPLOYEES THAT WILL BE SUBJECT TO THE NEW FEDERAL CONTRACTOR RULES AND PROMOTE EFFECTIVE COMPLIANCE WITH AMENDED EXECUTIVE ORDER 12989 (EO 13465)

PHOENIX, AZ, December 5, 2008– LawLogix Group, Inc., the leader in I-9 and E-Verify compliance and immigration case management systems, has announced that the Guardian Electronic I-9 and E-Verify Software now automates E-Verify batch processing for the employees of Federal Contractors. This expanded tool helps ensure compliance with the new mandatory E-Verify Requirements recently implemented by USCIS.

“LawLogix offers an error-free method for E-Verify batch processing. The E-Verify data can be automatically extracted from electronic I-9s and also from transcribed paper I-9s. This time-saving flexibility to integrate both paper and electronic I-9s is exclusive to LawLogix. For most Federal Contractors, this compliance tool will save substantial time and money by cutting E-Verify and I-9 compliance costs in half. We are calling the new batching feature our own “mini-bailout for federal contractors” because it will be provided to new and current Guardian clients for no additional charge!” says Dan Siciliano, CEO of LawLogix.

On November 13, 2008 the USCIS announced that federal contractors and subcontractors will be required to begin using E-Verify, starting on Jan. 15, 2009, to verify employees’ eligibility to work in the United States. The E-Verify program, administered by the Department of Homeland Security, allows employers to confirm the employment eligibility of its employees using federal database information.
Companies awarded a contract with the federal government will be required to enroll in E-Verify within 30 days of the contract award date. These companies must use the E-Verify system to confirm that all of their new hires and their current employees working directly on federal contracts are authorized to legally work in the United States. The same clause will also be required in subcontracts over $3,000 for services or construction.

Federal contractors are now scrambling to upgrade their I-9 compliance processes, and Guardian is a powerful solution that can be implemented quickly by companies of any size. This fully integrated software system allows organizations to complete error-checked electronic I-9s, seamlessly transmit required data to E-Verify, and track critical expiration and purge dates into the future. Hundreds of organizations now use Guardian to improve efficiency, reduce legal risk and ensure complete compliance.
