LawLogix Incorporates Comprehensive Immigration Reform into Immigration Case Management Offering
New, Proprietary Information Gathering Tools Help Attorneys Prepare Clients for CIR
Phoenix, AZ., March 13, 2013 — LawLogix Group, Inc., the leader in I-9 compliance, E-Verify and immigration case management software, announced today the launch of a new, proprietary Comprehensive Immigration Reform (CIR) consultation module that assists immigration law firms and practitioners to quickly and easily determine the eligibility of their clients for CIR. Developed by LawLogix’ in-house immigration attorneys, the CIR consultation module is an information gathering tool and methodology within the LawLogix EDGE case management system.
The new CIR consultation module, part of the EDGE case management system, guides attorneys through the CIR eligibility process with specific CIR-eligibility related questions, a CIR required documents list, a dedicated activities list for tracking milestones, and forms for entering the practitioner’s or accredited representative’s notice of appearance. In addition, the CIR consultation module allows for the secure upload and storage to the case management system of relevant client documents. The new CIR module also includes a specific travel history section for tracking physical presence in the US which LawLogix immigration attorneys believe will likely be a component of CIR eligibility.
“There is no doubt that CIR will have a lot of complexity, and that is why we developed a specific CIR module that makes it easy for immigration attorneys to determine the eligibility of their clients for CIR,” said John Fay, General Counsel and Vice President of Product Development at LawLogix. “And with the volume of cases handled by attorneys and immigration case managers expected to increase as a result of CIR, the CIR module within EDGE will help practitioners and their staff standardize their CIR processes, thereby increasing efficiency, reducing administrative costs, and increasing the value they can deliver to their clients.”
The new CIR consultation module follows the highly successful modules for determining DACA eligibility and DACA case processing launched last August and was developed with the purpose of collecting and isolating information and data points that will allow practitioners to quickly decide how they may best assist potential CIR-eligible clients. In addition, each component of the new module was designed to allow case managers to manage the intake of information needed in preparation for CIR quickly and efficiently. The new CIR consultation module is included free of charge with all LawLogix EDGE and Globetrotter case management subscriptions.
